Rodwell Arzu on the Lam After Allegedly Killing Ex-Girlfriend in Griga
Rodwell Arzu, the man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend before stabbing and shooting her relative at her residence in Dangriga, remains on the lam. The thirty-six-year-old has a history of domestic abuse in which he has been physical on previous occasions with Geraldine Flowers who had just moved to the town and from whom he had separated. On Sunday morning, he reportedly entered her home in the New Site area and shot her multiple times before attacking her cousin who asleep in another bedroom. Police are still in search of the Independence resident who is wanted for questioning. Assistant Commissioner of Police Joseph Myvett briefly discussed the former couple’s violent history.

“Was there anything more the police could have done, as the commissioner had said at that last all officers conference that we will proceed with charges, let them drop it at court.”

“One of them was aggravated assault with a firearm and then I am not able to say the rest, I would have to do some research to gather the rest of charges, but I am certain that one was an aggravated assault with a firearm.”
