Fire Destroys Wooden Home on Aloe Vera Street
A fire destroyed a wooden house in Belize City on Thursday night. It happened on Aloe Vera Street, a few minutes before nine. The house was engulfed in flames for thirty minutes before firefighters extinguished the blaze. Neighbors told News Five that they heard crackling sounds just before they saw smoke and flames inside the house. They say that two persons lived there, but it appears that no one was at home at the time of the blaze. Residents on Aloe Vera Street say that one of those occupants is a well-known fisherman who is out at sea at this time.
