Missing Belize City Yardman Returns Home Safe and Sound
Forty-six-year-old Antonio Chacon, a Honduran landscaper, was reported missing over the weekend when family members could not locate him. He was last seen on Friday morning around five a.m. when he set out from home on Antelope Street Extension with a weed whacker on his bicycle. With so many missing persons ending up killed, the family’s worst fear was allayed when he was found alive and well on Sunday. As it turns out, Chacon was out with his friends socializing and he failed to notify his family of his whereabouts.
Supt. Alejandro Cowo, O.C., C.I.B., Eastern Division
“Chacon, he returned home safely yesterday. What we understand is that Mr. Chacon had left his house and went to do some landscaping and during that time he got involved with some friends where he went and stayed at a certain location, just socializing along with his friends without [notifying] family members that he was out with them. However, he has returned home and he is alive and well.”
