The body of a U.S. national was found onboard a sailing vessel in southern Belize. On Sunday, the Belize Coast Guard discovered the vessel near Colson Caye, some eighteen miles east of Dangriga. Police say that the elderly man, seventy-one-year-old Michael Junker, was found with his documents onboard and there were no signs of violence on the body. Police say that at this time they have no information of Junker’s entry or stay in Belize and working to determine a timeline when he arrived in Belize. Here’s more from ACP Joseph Myvett.
