High winds slow opening of lobster season
Today marked the opening of lobster season, and as I speak, lovers of the tasty crustacean may already be enjoying the first tails of the 2001 harvest. While city co-operatives report a few deliveries today, the full scale processing should begin in earnest on Monday. High winds over the last week prevented many fishermen from setting traps, the murky waters making it difficult to locate them properly.
