Yellow Man Reportedly Insults and Threatens Louis Zabaneh at House Meeting
There is a criminal complaint against Brian “Yellow Man” Audinette, the macebearer in the National Assembly and a well-known U.D.P. stalwart. Following Friday’s house meeting, People’s United Party Dangriga Standard Bearer Louis Zabaneh reported to Belmopan police that he was approached by Audinette who repeatedly hurled insults at him about being a thief. According to Zabaneh, the Sergeant at Arms was no more than five feet away when he moved towards him in a menacing manner and threatening to kick him out of the house meeting. Zabaneh then proceeded to the Belmopan Police Station where he filed a complaint against Audinette and intends to pursue court action against him. It is not the first time that Yellow Man has been in the news for poor conduct inside the Assembly Building. In May 2017, he came under fire for assaulting and threatening reporter Marisol Amaya during the public hearing of the Senate Special Select Committee into the immigration scandal. Despite a call for his removal, he remains the macebearer.
