Female gunslinger charged in two robberies

There is a saying in law enforcement circles that a smart cop does not believe in coincidence. Neither should a smart journalist. On yesterday’s newscast we reported two armed robberies, both committed by women. At the time, police told us that they believed the incidents were unrelated and it was a simple coincidence that two women would commit similar crimes on the same weekend. Today, common sense prevailed and it has been determined that one woman–twenty-four year old Joeth Pratt–did indeed stick up Femagra Industries and attempted to do the same at Excellent Diner. This morning she was charged with robbery and aggravated assault for the first jacking and three counts of attempted robbery, wounding and three counts of aggravated assault for the second. Pratt was remanded to Hattieville Prison pending trial.
