Belize Wins Gold in Football at CODICADER Games
The 2019 CODICADER Games are being held in Tegucigalpa, Honduras where team Belize won a gold medal in male football earlier today. Belize’s victory over Panama by a score of seven goals to six came during a penalty shootout at the end of regulation time when both teams drew at one goal apiece. On Thursday, Belize routed Honduras with a three-nil final score also following a penalty shootout. That win secured the team’s place in today’s round of competition. Guatemala fell to Belize on Wednesday two to one. And so far it has placed first and second in Track and Field.
