Three years in jail for stealing microwave
A father of a six-year-old girl was in court today for stealing a microwave from the house of his ex. For that burglary, thirty-four year old Allison Cutkelvin, will spend three years in jail. Cutkelvin made a hole on the wall and entered the home of Denise Martin on Lacroix Boulevard and camped out there until she left the house. But police caught up with him following the burglary. The incident occurred between January thirty-first and February first, 2018. Today in court, Cutkelvin tried to explain that he deceived his ex when they were having problems and while she had allowed him to enter her home on other occasions on the day of the incident, she had not. Today, he changed his not guilty plea to guilty and threw himself at the mercy of the court. But Chief Magistrate, Sharon Fraser, explained to Cutkelvin that while he saved the court time she must take into consideration, his previous conviction for burglary also at the home of his ex. Cutkelvin told the court that he hid in the ceiling because his ex-girlfriend had taken out a restraining order against him.
