Ministry of Education says lost days must be recovered
According to the School Principal, Lenny Umaña, they are keeping an eye monitoring the situation. She adds that parents and teachers alike remain concerned over the time being lost due to the current situation. However, Umaña says they are committed to completing this year’s curriculum and have received instructions from the Ministry to ensure that the days lost are recovered.

“The general manager has also instructed us that if more time will be allotted we will have to start considering maybe starting earlier, making up days at least a day or two for Christmas, for the summer. So, it’s things that we have in mind. It’s not the way we would like to go because P.S.E. does not wait, BJAT does not wait. So, giving it Wednesday a try, I would really appeal to my parents. Give us that opportunity and as soon as we sight any danger, any concern that is eminent we will act responsibly.”
