President of Dominican Republic visits Tuesday
Not all of next week’s diplomatic activity will be centred in Washington. On Tuesday evening President of the Dominican Republic, Hipolito Mejia, will arrive for a twenty-four hour visit. After being met at the airport by Prime Minister Said Musa, officials will hold a series of meetings the following day centred on trade and tourism, and a pair of agreements will be signed by the two leaders. Mejia will leave Belize late Wednesday afternoon en route to the Taiwan/Central American Summit in El Salvador and it is believed that Prime Minister Musa may be hitching a ride in Mejia’s jet.
