Holiday moves from May 24th to 21st
If you are making plans for a short holiday in May, you are advised to check your calendar. Today Belmopan changed the date on which we will observe Commonwealth Day, traditionally celebrated on the twenty-fourth. The day off has now been moved to Monday, the twenty-first, making for a three-day weekend. Labour Day, scheduled for May first, will remain on that date, which this year falls on a Tuesday.
