Hit and run victim dies at hospital
A hit and run on Western Highway has resulted in the death of a pedestrian. Around midnight on Good Friday night, a motorist passing by mile fifty-two picked up an injured man who had apparently had his foot severed after being hit by a vehicle. The victim was taken to Belmopan Hospital, where he lived long enough only to give his name: Jose Hernandez. Police are asking the public to assist them with any information they may have about the incident.
