One Suspect Being Sought for Darren Gentle’s Murder

While persons in the area have provided account of what they saw, Investigators say that Darren Gentle was in the presence of another individual and that the pair drove up to that location in San Jose Village to rendezvous with a group of men when they were pounced upon by a gunman. It is unclear what the purpose of the meeting was and police are tonight looking for one suspect in connection with Gentle’s murder.

“On Wednesday, October 23rd, 2019, around 7:30 p.m., police visited a road north of A&R Distributors in San Jose Village where they found the lifeless body of Darren Gentle, twenty-seven-year-old, office assistant at the Ministry of Works, with gunshot injuries, motionless, apparently dead inside a vehicle. Information received was that he was along with another male person. They went to the area to meet with other persons and thereafter one person showed up, thereafter another male person came and fired shots towards the deceased. We are seeking one person in connection to this investigation and the investigation is ongoing at this time.”
