Kamela Palma new CEO for Human Dev. Ministry
The Ministry of Human Development, Women and Civil Society has a new chief executive officer. She is Kamela Palma. Palma, who left her job as the director of the U.B. Regional Language Center in Belmopan, speaks German, French, Spanish and Maya…and presumably has mastered English and Creole as well. The native of Punta Gorda holds a Masters degree from the University of London. She replaces Carlos Santos, who completed his contract earlier this year. In related news it is understood that the Ministry of Housing is looking for a new chief executive officer, as Celine Cleland, who was appointed only a few months ago, has departed the country to live abroad.
