Man dies after being stoned with bottle
The stoning of pint bottles is a popular pastime for angry drunks…and while the missile usually fails to find its mark, one thrown on Friday has resulted in a man’s death. Forty year old Michael Muñoz returned to his home in Guinea Grass Village with a cut wound on the back of his head and told his wife that one Froyland Perez had stoned him with a beer bottle. Muñoz was taken to the Orange Walk Hospital and later transferred to the K.H.M.H. On Tuesday morning, despite the best efforts of doctors, he died. Froyland Perez has been detained by police, pending further investigations.
