A Dangriga resident is tonight recovering at the Southern Regional Hospital after he was shot to the arm in a home invasion. Reports to our newsroom is that Darren Taylor was inside his house in the Southern Foreshore area of the town, when someone came knocking at his door around two a.m.  As Taylor opened the door, he was accosted by a gunman. Taylor scuffled with his attacker during which a single shot was fired and caught him on the bicep. The gunman then fled from the house. Taylor was taken to the hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
