Suspect Arrested in Neal murder
A Belize City man has been charged with last weekend’s shooting death in Yabra. Twenty-two year old Guyanese national Hillaire Sears has been remanded to Hattieville for the murder of Rodwell Neal on Sunday morning. It is alleged that Sears shot Neal after Neal had beaten Sear’s girlfriend Cherrymae Howard. Howard has told Channel 5 that neither she nor Sears were anywhere near the scene at the time of the shooting although several eyewitnesses have publicly contradicted her claim.
