Investigation of bank job intensifies
There is little official progress to report on the weekend’s theft of over two hundred and seventy thousand dollars from the San Ignacio branch of the Belize Bank, but unconfirmed talk on the street is that some of the stolen notes have surfaced in the Cayo District. Police and bank officials declined to comment on the reports, saying only that an intensive investigation continues.
