San Pedranos celebrate carnival
It may not rival celebrations in New Orleans or Rio, but San Pedro’s pre-Lenten carnival got underway over the weekend. The carnival parade pictured here took place on Saturday afternoon and was sponsored by the San Pedro carnival committee and San Pedro Town Board. Festivities, including the infamous painting of unwilling participants, continue through Tuesday on La Isla Bonita.
