Altercation between Two Friends Leads to Stabbing

Twenty-five-year-old Sylvestre Thompson was stabbed by his friend on Wednesday afternoon. He was on Reggae Street hanging out with some friends when an argument ensued. One of his friends produced a knife and during the altercation, Thompson was stabbed in the face and neck. Thompson was admitted to the hospital in a stable condition. According to investigators, the friends were consuming alcohol when the fight broke out.

“He was along with some other friends socializing in the Reggae Street when an argument ensued with one of the male persons and as a result he sustained stab wounds to his body. He was transported to the hospital and remains in a stable condition. Police has since detained one of the male persons when the incident happened.”

“Sir, is there any explanation as to what caused this dispute in terms of this argument between these two men?”

“What we understand is just apparently after they were socializing something was just said to one another and that is what caused the fight that they had.”

“Are these two men friends?”

“Yes they are friends.”
