Damion Bregal was Chopped to Death

Damion Bregal

Seventeen-year-old Belmopan native Damion Bregal was chopped to death and his body dumped along the Young Gyal Road in Teakettle Village, Cayo. The teen went missing last week without a trace and his family embarked on a fruitless search for days until Tuesday evening when police received reports of a decomposing body on a feeder road off the Young Gyal Road. Several persons were detained and questioned but no charge has been levied on anyone as yet. Tonight, a two thousand dollars reward is being offered for information that can assist the investigation. Deputy Head of the National Crime Investigation Branch, Senior Superintendent Hilberto Romero provided an update.
