Commissioner of Police Chester Williams says don’t believe the rumors you are hearing of a shake-up in the San Pedro Police formation. According to Williams, officer in charge, Christopher Noble, has been doing a stellar job in addressing crime on the island. Today Williams shut down the reports of an imminent transfer for Noble and others on the team. Here’s how he puts it.

“I can state here, that as the commissioner of police, I am extremely satisfied with the work being done in San Pedro by Superintendent and his team. They have performed exceptionally well over the past six months, so much so that the crime situation has decreased significantly. We are hoping that for 2020 we will see better results from them and Mr. Noble and his team have the full support of this high command of the Belize Police Department. So, let me state that the rumor is not true and should be dispelled.”
