Young Men in Seine Bight Threaten the Cops!
Over the weekend, police detained a number of young men in Seine Bight village in the south. According to Commissioner Chester Williams, the youths were threatening the cops who were carrying out operations in the area. The matter was dealt with quickly and the men were charged. “I deployed members of the anti-gang task force, G.S.U. and S.P.U., to Placencia over the weekend. Yes, we had received information that there was a group of young men who had threatened the police in Placencia and so we went down and those persons have been charged in respect of that matter.”

“Are you able to share the nature of the conflict?”

“Like I said, they were behaving boisterous and threatening the police and using a series of insulting words at the police.”
