Brodies manager wins $65,000 lotto
A Belize City man today walked away with sixty five thousand dollars in broad daylight from a business establishment on Bishop Street…and he didn’t even use a gun. Brodies branch manager Rene Vasquez, the latest lotto winner, told us what he plans to do with the money.

“Did you think you would win the Lotto draw?”

“Well, anytime I buy, I have hopes.”
Jose Sanchez
“So now that you’ve actually won, what do you plan to do with your money?”
Rene Vasquez
“Well the money is going into my account in the bank to save.”
Jose Sanchez
“Anything special for the family?”
Rene Vasquez
“Nothing at the moment. Sometime down the future, I’ll think about something for them.”
Jose Sanchez
“So will you continue playing Lotto?”
Rene Vasquez
“Oh, yes, I’m gonna buy Lotto.”
Jose Sanchez
“Did you have any dreams about what you would do if you ever won this money, something wild that you wanted to do? Something creative?”
Rene Vasquez
“Well I have no dreams at the moment for it, but I plan to maybe buy a vehicle for myself. Something like that you know.”
