Shyne and Dalla’s Dispute Settled, says Attorney Kareem Musa

Two weeks ago we told you of the legal dispute brewing between Troy “DJ Dalla” Flowers and Shyne Barrow. DJ Dalla faced court action by Belize Brewing Company after he committed to taking out a twenty-six thousand-dollar consignment for drinks to be sold at last year’s Music Week reportedly at the behest of Shyne.  One the other hand, Shyne reportedly failed to pay DJ Dalla for his services.  The two U.D.P. stalwarts were placed on a precarious situation by each other and DJ Dalla decided to seek legal action against Shyne.  The suit was not filed and will not be filed because, according to DJ Dalla’s attorney Kareem Musa, the matter has been settled.

Kareem Musa, Attorney

“As far as I am aware I have been instructed not to file the case. That for all intent and purposes indicates to me there is an ongoing settlement. Like I said there was an intermediary who agreed to take on the payment to Belize Brewing Company. I have to make sure that that is taking place and if that is not taking place then I will consult with my client to see if he want to continue the case or not. But as far as I am aware, it has been settled.”
