“A fatal stabbing incident has left forty-four year old Sydney Bradley of Belize City dead. According to neighbours, the incident occurred just before 1:00 this morning right here at Bradley Boots Crescent Residence.”
“According to Clarence McKay, who occupies the upper flat at the time, he heard a familiar noise like someone jumped the fence. However, it was what he later heard that surprised him.”

“I heard a screaming. When I realised it was Sydney Bradley, we called him “Touch,” when I realised it was Touch’s voice, he asked me to open the door. As you can see the burglar door was locked, so I opened the big one and I saw him outside on the verandah covered in blood. He asked me to please open the door and get his car keys to take him to the hospital. I was scrambling to get the keys to open the door, but I was also afraid because I was thinking that somebody could be outside. Maybe the attacker who did it was outside, so instead of just bolting through the front door, I went through the back door called Richard and me and Richard came to see what was going on.”
“As I reached outside, I saw a police vehicle passing, so I alerted the police vehicle, hollering and telling them that somebody just “jacked” Touch and they stabbed him up. But instead of the police vehicle turn in this way and come, the vehicle went.”
“In a minute he spoke to me and said I can’t take this. Then he said please take him to the hospital, then afterwards he started mumbling. There was blood coming from his neck, so I told him “chill yourself, chill yourself. Don’t talk we’ll help you.” But by the time we called, and everything, I they took so long to come, by the time they reached here he was already dead.”
Unconfirmed reports are that he died of two stab wounds, one to his chest and the other to his throat. When asked if it was a robbery, this is what McKay had to say.

“The house was totally ransacked and the hose from the gas tank was pulled off and the person turned on the valve all out and the whole house was filled with gas smoke. They went through the window, but I think they came through the door. I can’t say for sure if they came through the door, but the two window panes are broken, and the front door was open, so I guess they came through the front door.”
Police are not giving names, but they say that they have since detained two of Bradley’s close neighbours for questioning in connection with the stabbing death. Ann-Marie Williams for News 5.
Up to newstime the two men are still in police custody.
