Red Cross gets more Keith relief
The Red Cross has received another donation to assist in its restoration efforts after Hurricane Keith. Even though the storm has long left the shores of Belize, the damage lives on and Guardian Life has joined the ranks of local businesses by contributing five thousand dollars to the Hurricane Keith Rehabilitation Programme. The Red Cross programme targets the construction of wells and vats, the building of latrines and the provision of seeds to farmers. Yesterday, Guardian Life’s Vice President, Eric Hosin, presented the cheque to Delsyia Goff, Vice-President of the Red Cross Disaster Management Committee. Guardian Life had previously made a donation of five hundred dollars through the Life Underwriters Association of Belize.
