New computers for ANRI

Ten computers have been donated to ANRI, the Agriculture and Natural Resources Institute at the old Lynam College in the Stann Creek district. The fully loaded Pentium based units came from Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Daniel Silva. Present at Monday’s ceremony were members of the board of governors, Education Officer Vanley Jenkins, and Area representative for Stann Creek West Henry Canton. Principal of ANRI, Francis Marin, says that the school has been making major progress. In addition to a new vehicle to carry out its operations, the Institution has recently been furnished with electricity and telephone lines along with renovations and repairs made to its four school buildings.
