Colombian diplomat injured in car crash
A well-known diplomat has been injured in an automobile accident on the Western Highway. Clara Chavez, attaché at the Colombian Embassy, was driving near the Silva airstrip outside Belmopan when her four-wheel drive Suzuki Jimny went off the road and rolled over several times. Chavez, now at the KHMH, suffered a cut on her head, but no brain or spinal cord injuries have been detected.
