Britain helps AIDS commission
The Belize Audubon Society is not the only non-profit organisation to receive a boost this week. The National AIDS Commission has received eleven thousand, two hundred pounds, almost thirty-four thousand dollars from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the British Government. The money will be used to purchase office equipment and furniture to assist with the work of the AIDS Commission. The commission has also secured funding for its administrative costs from the government of Belize, UNDP, UNICEF and PAHO.
