B.D.F. Soldier Injured in Shooting

Just after three o’clock this afternoon, the violence continued on the south side of the city. One man was shot in the vicinity of Violet Lane in the Saint Martin de Porres area. The victim is B.D.F. soldier Wayne Perry, who was rushed to the K.H.M.H. for treatment. Perry was riding his bicycle when he was approached by a gunman travelling on a motorcycle. The individual opened fire, hitting Perry multiple times on the abdomen and feet. As many as eight expended shells were found at the scene of the shooting.
