Fire Destroys Home in Seine Bight

There was another fire earlier today, this time in Seine Bight village in southern Belize and as many as twelve persons were displaced.  Reports are that a fire broke out at a ten-room barrack in the village and flames quickly engulfed the building. Fire officials from Placencia responded to the scene of the fire but by that time the blaze but by that time the property was already destroyed. Fortunately, no one was inside at the time but the occupants lost everything. A report say that another small wooden house located next door to the barrack may have been destroyed. The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
