Michael “Chips” Norales, the New Deputy of Belize CitCo
There is a new deputy mayor for Belize City. He is Michael “Chip” Norales, who was elected at the recent caucus of the council and will work side by side with Mayor Bernard Wagner. Norales will serve for one year, up until February 2021. Over at City Hall, the practice is that the deputy is elected by the team of councillors. He replaces outgoing deputy Oscar Arnold.
