Accused Murderers are Freed of Charge
A trio of men, accused in the murder of Raheem Requeña in December 2012, is freed of the charge tonight. The case against Kenneth Barrow, Jermaine Garnett and Keshawn Gentle fell apart on Tuesday in the courtroom of Justice Marilyn Williams. The prosecution, led by Porsha Staine-Ferguson, entered a nolle prosequi since the main witness, who is the aunt of Requeña, was not present in court and had not been located. The three men were accused of the murder which occurred on Kut Avenue in 2012.
