Police Seek Guatemalan National for James Slemp’s Murder
In other news, seventy-nine-year-old Canadian national James Slemp was brutally murdered in Hopkins Village. His was partially decapitated body was found in a creek on Monday, three days after he went missing. Slemp lived alone on his farm and was last seen alive on Friday. Before his untimely death, Slemp was involved in an argument with a former farmhand over a planer tool. Slemp was attacked with a machete and killed. Today, investigators are looking for the suspect who is believed to have crossed the border.

“There is no further update at this time we are still looking for the Guatemalan who was his neighbor with whom we knew he had a feud prior to his murder.”

“Do you believe that the individual, the suspect has crossed over the Guatemalan border?”

“Well at this time we are not certain if he is in Belize or has fled the country. In his case since he is an international fugitive or someone from outside of Belize we are going to put a red notice on him. So if you go on Interpol after this you will find his name there.”
