Belizean Man Sentenced to 18 Years in US Federal Prison
Fifty-three-year-old Belizean Moses Anthon Francisco has been sentenced to eighteen years behind bars in the United States. According to news outlets in Iowa, Francisco led law enforcement on a high-speed chase from southern Minnesota into North Iowa on June eleventh, 2019. It is reported that he was observed driving erratically and had pointed a handgun at another driver. Francisco refused to stop for law enforcement and sped south into Iowa at speeds near one hundred miles per hour. He was sentenced on Friday with parole. Francisco must also serve a three-year supervised release term after his prison sentence is completed. He was also found to have entered the U.S. illegally and in possession of a loaded handgun. Francisco had numerous prior deportations from the U.S.
