New appointees for Elections and Boundaries Com.
Two new members of the Elections and Boundaries Commission have been appointed. They are Herbert Panton, a reporter for the Guardian Newspaper, and attorney Samira Musa Pott. Pott and Panton replace long serving members Domingo Perez and Audrey Wallace. The five-member commission is made up of a chairman and two members appointed at the request of the Prime Minister and two members appointed at the request of the Leader of the Opposition. Chairman is Gadsby Ramos, while Pott and Norman Moore complete the government roster. Panton and Alberto August serve for the opposition. The administration of the electoral system is handled by Chief Elections Officer Myrtle Palacio.
