2 Persons are Injured in Jane Usher Blvd. Shooting
Aside from the seven murders, nine persons have been injured in shootings in the violence that ash erupted in the past two days. On Jane Usher Boulevard this morning around nine o’clock, two persons, including an elderly man, were injured in gun violence. A group of men were targeted as they stood near a residence on Jane Usher Boulevard. At least one gunman appeared out of a nearby bushy area and took aim at his target. That person, we are told, escaped unhurt, but Aaron Brown, a construction worker of Junior Street was injured to the buttocks. Also caught in the spray of bullets was seventy-seven-year-old Mario Castillo, who received a gunshot injury to the ankle. Both Castillo and Brown have since been treated and released from the hospital. News Five has been informed that the shooting was the result of ongoing rivalry between two groups in the area.
