A Stabbing Between in-Laws
An argument between in-laws has left one person hospitalized and another facing an attempted murder charge. Police say that during the early hours of Tuesday morning, a family was socializing at a house in Belize City when they got into a dispute and one man pulled out a knife and stabbed another multiple times.
Supt. Alejandro Cowo, O.C., C.I.B., Eastern Division
“At about 1:50 a.m., police visited the K.H.M.H. where they observed Nelson Nolberto Junior with apparent stab wounds to his body. What police gathered so far is that Nolberto Junior was at his residence on Grant’s Alley socializing when a dispute ensued between family members and as a result of that one of the family members inflicted the said injuries to him. He is presently admitted in a stable condition at the moment. As a result, police arrested and charged twenty-seven-year-old Robert Roches Edison of a Grant’s Alley address for the crime of attempted murder; use of deadly means of harm and dangerous harm.”
