Courts raffles $12,000

Today Courts held another raffle in its 2000 and Win promotion. This is the final draw before their big give away of a furnished house and lot. News Five stopped by to see who were the lucky winners.

“For San Ignacio we have Neida Waight; Orange Walk we have Lloyd Faber; Belmopan, Elson Kaseke; Belize, Karen Clarke; Corozal Rosita McFarlane.”

“Today we drew twelve thousand dollars. When we began in the year, we did two ten thousand dollars draw. And that was because we didn’t have Corozal on board as yet. So the last two draw was for twelve thousand dollars, two thousand going for each branch.”

“What will be the grand finally for the two thousand dollar draw?”

“The grand finally is the best prize ever, I don’t think anybody has matched it as yet. It’s a house and land worth over eighty thousand dollars. Actually the house is Vista Del Mar’s ninety-five thousand dollar house, and coupled with our furniture and electrical, because we gave major appliances, refrigerator, stove, washer, a king size bed and back support mattress. Coupled with that it should be about one hundred thousand dollars and more.”

The house and lot will be raffled on January third 2001.
