Credit Union League donates to Keith relief
The Belize Credit Union League has donated over fifteen thousand dollars to organisations that are assisting in the hurricane relief effort. The funds were originally designated for use during Credit Union Week, but the league thought the money would be best used for the rebuilding of other institutions. The funds were distributed to the Belize Red Cross and the national relief fund, which was established by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Cooperatives. Money was also provided to member credit unions that sustained physical damage as a result of Keith.
