Two dead bodies found, no foul play suspected

When residents living in the area of Ebony Street and Central American Boulevard got up early Sunday morning and went outside, they were confronted with the gruesome sight of a dead body. The body, identified as fifty-seven year old labourer Edwin Wade, was discovered sometime between six-thirty and seven o’clock by pedestrians. According to one witness the body was fully clothed and lying in a nearby drain. News Five’s Stephen Ferguson was at the scene and brings you the following clips.

“So I tell myself, this is not for real. At the same time I saw the body for real. The body was lying down, face down you know, so I went by and I took him up and I flipped him over and I said to myself, you know what he died between last night and this morning.”

When News Five contacted the police they say they do not suspect foul play. Police say Wade was an epileptic and he may have had a seizure, which led him to his death.

Another dead body was found over the weekend, this time on Freetown Road. Jeffrey Bodden, better known as “Ding Dang,” was found on Saturday sometime after midday, lying halfway outside the door of his house. Police say Bodden, believed to be in his early forties, had a history of mental illness and checked himself out of the KHMH, where he was under observation two days prior to his death.
