Two detained in Blake murder
Police still have yet to make any arrests in the kidnapping and murder of Therese Blake Ayuso. Ayuso had just returned home from picking up her four year old daughter from school when the mother and child were abducted by two men who were apparently waiting for her by her garage. Reports are that Ayuso was dragged back into her vehicle, but as the van reached the BTL Park on Newtown Barracks, it crashed into a parked van. As the vehicle came to an abrupt stop two gunshots were heard. Ayuso lay dead across the passenger seat while her daughter, who was not physically harmed, remained seated in the back. Two men were then seen fleeing from the site and escaped in a white car. Today, police say they suspect there are more than two persons involved in what appears to be a kidnapping gone wrong. According to Mario Vernon, Head of CIB, they are investigating the incident from all different angles and at this time they only say that they have two men detained and that a white car with Texas license plates has been impounded. Ayuso was the daughter of the late multi-millionaire James Blake.
