Are You Ready for the Ozzy Challenge?
Across the country, thousands of primary school students remain at home where they have been since March twentieth when classes were called off due to the COVID-19 threat. The extended quarantine has seen innovations in the social media space where Facebook and Instagram users are hosting their own shows to entertain and educate each other. Getting in on all the internet excitement is Ozzy the Clown. He has since developed his own online content and a challenge to go along with his new show. Earlier today Ozzy told us about the online programme, as well the popular Ozzy Challenge.
Ozzy the Clown
“Ozzy has a show that was developed since the quarantine started and children were being kept at home and I wanted to see how I could reach the children. For them not to be bored and for them to be able to learn something and see something different and new and I was pushed, and I must mention Ms. Kim Vasquez from NICH, she pushed me and said hey, you can do this, go ahead and do it. She guided me in the process and I did it on my own, started it as a one-man show and I did it on Javier Canul’s Facebook page. It is twelve shows now and the show has been constantly garnering speed. One of the interesting points about the Ozzy Show that we feature is the Ozzy Challenge and on the Ozzy Challenge we tend to feature anybody who wants to do this challenge. I started out with young kids, five-years-old, then I went up to people who go to the university and now adults and teenagers and I’ve decided now that I want to take it to another level by getting professional organizations to do this challenge. One such professional organization is the fire department and they have come aboard and they have done the Ozzy Challenge and it has been catching on pretty fast and so pretty soon you might see more than just the fire department doing the Ozzy Challenge but other organizations doing the Ozzy Challenge.”
