BELTRAIDE Hosts Virtual Competitiveness Month
BELTRAIDE is taking its competitiveness month activities online. It’s the unit’s approach to adapt to the current state of affairs due to COVID-19. BELTRAIDE and its partners will hold a number of online workshops and webinars to help business to navigate these challenging times to ensure their economic survival. Executive Director of BELTRAIDE Leroy Almendarez tells us more.

“This month is competitiveness month for us and for the country. But normally this is something that BELTRAIDE does with the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Commerce. And so we are putting on at least five webinars and the panelists will be made up of people from Belize and international speakers as we address what are some of the shared needs and what are some of the impacts and how do we address them? Because we must become very efficient in what we do and so best practices and all of those things are things that we want to learn. This is something that we do on a yearly basis and so putting on these webinars is telling us this is something else that we can do.”
