Ministry of Works receives new equipment
Seven million dollars in heavy equipment was today handed over to the Ministry of Works. The road building machinery and fleet of Mercedes Benz dump trucks was purchased using credit provided by Germany’s Deutsch Bank. This is the third consignment of equipment to arrive since December of 1999. In addition to the hardware, Ministry of Works’ drivers and operators will also receive training in the use and maintenance of the new vehicles.
