Beef Between Friends Led to Gruesome Murder
One man has been charged for the brutal murder of Abner Novelo. He is thirty-one-year-old Nimrod Sherman Catzim of Orange Walk Town. Police levied the charges today. Novelo was the caretaker of a farm located off the San Antonio Road in Orange Walk. He was found with chop and gunshot wounds. His right armed had also been severed. Catzim is no stranger to the law. He was known as Nimrod Tillett and in October 2012, he was acquitted of the gruesome murder of Enrique Castillo in 2009. Assistant Commissioner of Police Myvett says that Novelo’s murder was a result of an old beef.

“At this point in time police also have one person in our custody who will I believe charges will be preferred that person for murder.”

“At this point in time based on the angle investigation has taken we believe that it may have been an old dispute between those persons, between the deceased and the person who is now is in custody and is now pending charges.”
