ACP Joseph Myvett, Head, National Crimes Investigation Branch
“Family members from Sand Hill picked him up and transported him to the K.H.M.H. No report was made to the police at that point in time so based on the bits and pieces and after the police arrived with those injuries that the police commenced an investigation. During that investigation, a vehicle fitting that description has since been impounded and we know that the police was seeking one person in relation to this investigation who resides on the Old Northern Highway as well. I cannot confirm at this point in time whether that person has already been or is in custody.”
