Belize Tax Service Employee Charged for Possession of Controlled Drug
A second class clerk of the Belize Tax Service, who is charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply and who is attached to the Belmopan office, has been granted bail of ten thousand dollars. Supreme Court Judge, Justice Colin Williams granted Ishelle Tablada bail on the conditions that she does not leave the country and reports to the Belmopan Police every Monday. Earlier this week, on Monday, Tablada was refused bail when she appeared in the Belmopan Magistrate’s Court, but her attorney, Hurl Hamilton was successful in getting her bail from the Supreme Court. Tablada is to return to court on September thirtieth.
